Principal's Welcome

Fall Welcome Back!

The school year is underway and we’re excited about the class of 2018 making its mark on Woodcreek High School. This is our 20th Anniversary year, having opened in 1994.   A plethora of students and parents have made tremendous contributions to our outstanding reputation as a school of excellence. The WHS staff has served as a foundation for this progress and continues to fuel the passion and persistence of our school community. I’d like to quickly recognize the staff at WHS that were here in that inaugural year – Chris Branson, Julie Bugna, Laura Bullard, Kendra Grinsell, Chris LaFazia, Kelly Mayo, Terri McKillop, Todd McKillop, Robert Miller, Mark O’Hair, Aaron Weidkamp and Sharon Worthington.    Congratulations and thank you for your service and commitment!

Our Homecoming game on September 19th will have additional celebratory activities to recognize this milestone. Please be sure to join us. Here’s to an outstanding 2014 – 2015!

Woodcreek High School Site Council
The WHS Site Council is looking for two parent members to contribute to a dynamic school improvement process.  The term is a two year commitment attending one meeting per month to learn about school issues, discuss ways to better serve the WHS community, give input on budgeting decisions and to stay better connected to all things Woodcreek.  Stop by the Site Council table during Parent Orientation Night on August 18th if you’re interested in learning more about WHS Site Council.  You may also e-mail Terri Griffin at for more information.

WHS Parking Lot ~ Construction Zone

Expect traffic delays the first week of school in the main parking lot as the construction in the stadium is coming to a close.  If you are dropping off students it is advised to not enter the main parking area.  Please drop off in a safe area along Woodcreek Oaks Blvd.  Instruct your student to use crosswalks if dropping off on the east side of Woodcreek Oaks Blvd.   If you do enter the main parking lot please follow the flow of traffic and do not attempt to make turns against traffic.
